The conception and finalization of Mayority included plenty of balancing tasks. From balancing the behavior and economy as well as the gameplay mechanics. To ensure that the game stays balanced I used statistical analysis and multiple test cases, from which I altered the rules and numbers of the game respectively.
Mayority is a city building game for iPhone, Android, PC, Mac and Linux. In Mayority the player gets thrown into the role of mayor for a small rural town that suddenly has a steady influx of new citizens. It's the players task to look after the needs and wants of his new protegés or he won't be mayor for long. The game is the result of an original concept by Paul Zuckermann and me. I have worked on Mayority from original concept to paper protypes, several digital prototypes to the final product

Balancing Stars of Icarus was a challenging task, for which I was contracted specifically among other tasks. Since the game was still in active development during the time, a lot of moving and still developing elements had to be weighted against each other. To achieve this I created multiple test cases and und statistical analysis.
Stars of Icarus is a 2D Roguelike Space Shooter with a skill based combat system. Explore, loot, craft and fight your way through a mix of procedural and hand-crafted levels. Upgrade your ship with newfound technology, weapons and items crafted from the resources you gather.

Balancing a social game can be a tricky task, since the monetization is directly connected to it and both can and have to affect each other. Therefore I had to work on both, monetization and balancing, in tandem to assure that both the game was fun and that players still had a good feeling purchasing items.
Bands is a Social Game published on Facebook. Bands is not only a Social game it is also a Platform for users to discover new Music and share their favourite Music with their friends. The Gameplay features highscore based arcade concerts individualized to your favourite Music.
